Sainsburys 'Play with our food'

SAINSBURY'S - PLAY WITH OUR FOOD

When briefed by Sainsbury’s to create a campaign that helps keep Mum sane and the kids entertained over the summer months, we landed on the idea of “Play With your Food”.

It was a 6-week campaign of fun and games, where we invited mum and her kids to enter via comments on our social channels.

Engagement went through the roof and people were eager to check in each day for the upcoming Play With Your Food piece of fun.

We created social games that invited users to guess a range of bizarre outcomes, which picnic would Sergio the sausage dog nick from? How many layers of a burger can you stack before the burger falls in 'Burgeroo' , and the thing that everyone through history has wondered..how many helium balloons does it take to raise a mini pork pie off the ground?

As well as filmed games, we created a range of 'pun with food' images using Sainsbury's food. A well known saying was hidden within the image, such as Bad Apple for an apple in a leather jacket and shades. All images had a homemade and crafty feel to match the summer campaign.

The engagement levels were crazy, with thousands of views and tens of thousands of comments. It was the most successful and highly engaged with piece of content Sainsbury’s had seen on their social channels.

Can you guess 'em?
